It is never too late for a person to achieve one's own dream.  Tisha Nixon is such a person who decided to follow her childhood dream of becoming a movie star in 2010.  With no connections in the entertainment industry, she turned to the Internet and got herself linked to audition calls in Vancouver and in the U.S. and the rest is history.

Her first TV commercial audition booked her for "Advil" and her first film audition got her the supporting role of grandmother lover in "Get Your Own Mother". In the first 2 years the prolific actress has appeared in 21 films and 13 commercial-industrial productions. 

Two of her dramatic films in 2012 were shown at international film festivals.  "Kimchi Fried Dumplings", where she acted as a Chinese mother torn among three sons, premiered at the San Diego Asian Film Festival 2012, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival 2012 and the San Francisco Center for Asian American Media Festival 2013.  "Plating", where she portrayed as a sorrowful Asian mother of an inmate to be executed, was shown at the Whistler International Film Festival 2012 and pre-screened at the SFU Film Festival 2012.  A third dramatic film, "Yokai", where she had the lead role of Okaasan, was one of the films shown on April 28, 2012 at the UBC POV 22 Film Festival 2012.  A romantic fantasy film, "Hymn Skysew" where she acted as the servant, was shown at the UBC POV 23 Film Festival 2013.  "It's a Little Grey" and "One Word" were screened at the Langara College Film Festival 2011.  She acted as the domineering Chinese mother in "It's a Little Grey" while in "One Word" she was the mentally deranged woman.

Tisha is not only a dramatic actress but she is also a funny comedian.  Many of her peers have pointed out her innate ability to make people laugh.  Her facial expressions in her comedic videos and films can easily lead the viewers to laughter.

Tisha is committed to authentic, passionate and excellent acting.  The future is definitely bright for her and she is one star to watch for.
